Pam Lindahl is a native Coloradoan, born and raised in Denver. Her Colorado roots run deep, with her grandparents homesteading in southeastern Colorado during the Dust Bowl days. Family vacations were spent exploring the state's mountain destinations.
Denver was a great place to grow up and finish college, but the draw of the Steamboat valley became apparent when visiting with her husband, Dave, for their first anniversary. The locals were so warm and welcoming that four months later they had sold homes in Denver and purchased one in Steamboat. Their children, Dustin and Cari, came along in the following years. Cari came home from her first day of kindergarten saying there was a boy in her class who said he is going to be an Olympic ski jumper. And he is! For them, Steamboat has proved itself time and again to be a wonderful place to live and raise a family. Our community is small enough to care and large enough to present outstanding cultural and outdoor activities.
The valley's strong community spirit has prompted Pam to be an active volunteer with church children's groups, 4-H, and as a Girl Scout Troop leader. Currently, she spends time weekly volunteering for Lift-Up of Routt County. As a couple, the Lindahls are active with one of their favorite local organizations, Horizons for the Handicapped. Pam loves anything to do with the outdoors, camping, gardening, fishing and snowmobiling. Just getting outside anytime of the year to our town's trails system provides scenic beauty and a chance to get a quick walk.
Pam's been involved with properties in Steamboat for the past thirty years, so real estate was a natural fit for her. She started getting to know the Steamboat market with her property detailing business that she owned and operated for over twenty years. That progressed to helping her husband with his remodeling and home building business. In 2001, she decided to expand her focus on real estate and become a Realtor full time. Pam specializes in the second home market, but loves to help first time and retirement buyers along with those interested in mountain land and sellers seeking to change properties.
Pam is committed to exceeding your expectations whether you are buying or selling. She is confident that her knowledge of the area and ability to provide you with comprehensive market information will help you in your purchase of your own piece of Steamboat.
