Amy Scarborough is a Steamboat native; her family moved to the Yampa Valley in 1972 when she was just 2 years old! Growing up in Steamboat gave Amy the opportunity to participate in many activities:Ballet Northwest and Perry Mansfield, volleyball, track, softball, cheerleading, drill team, swimming, hiking, camping, ice skating and of course, skiing.

After graduation, Amy attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas for her freshman year. Colorado was calling her home and she transferred to the University of Colorado at Boulder. During her college career she was active in the Alpha Chi Omega sorority and served as the Vice President during her junior year.

Amy returned to Steamboat in 1992 after graduating from CU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Amy then attended Colorado Mountain College, Alpine Campus in Steamboat and acquired a certification in Hospitality Management. Amy worked in property management for 10 years as the Front Office Supervisor/Marketing Director for a property management company, Northstar Management, Inc. and a luxury ski-in/out property, Chateau Chamonix.

Amy got married in 1999 in Steamboat and she and her husband, Aaron, celebrated the birth of their daughter Ava Rose in 2002. Amy and Aaron co-own Downhill Plumbing and Heating, Inc. specializing in new construction installation. As a family, along with their yellow lab, Odie, they enjoy many of the things the Yampa Valley has to offer-biking, camping, hiking, fly fishing, and snowboarding.

Amy brings her service based background to her practice in real estate. She believes in being detail oriented, honest and having on-going communication with her buyers and sellers. Amy looks forward to the opportunity to share her love of the Yampa Valley with locals and visitors alike.
