Sara M. Hoffman

Born & raised in St. Louis, MO, Sara’s family traveled to Colorado yearly to ski. After visiting multiple resort towns across Colorado her family discovered Steamboat when she was 6 and never looked back. They knew that Steamboat was where they wanted to spend all their family vacations and holidays so they invested in a condo on the mountain in 1990 and subsequently bought a lot and built their family vacation home in 1997 for the entire family to use and share.

Sara was also fortunate to live in Brussels, Belgium for a few years when she was young. This experience allowed her to traveling throughout Europe, enjoy the history and different cultures, as well as all her many extracurricular activities like skiing, hiking, camping and swimming in the French and Austrian Alps, Switzerland and Germany. However, her heart still belonged in Steamboat. So, she headed to the beautiful Rocky Mountains to attend the University of Denver, where she was able to spend most weekends as well her summers in Steamboat enjoying everything it has to offer.

After graduating with a degree in International Business, Sara went back to her home town of St. Louis to work for Ralston Purina in Sales & Marketing. However, after 3+ years she missed the mountains too much and decided to move back to Steamboat in 2002 to live in paradise. In 2005 Sara pursued her career in Real Estate to help others make Steamboat their home and help them find the joy and happiness Steamboat has brought her.

Sara was recently married in June of 2010 and she and her husband own and operate Grizzle-T Dog & Sled works, a local dog sledding business that gives people the opportunity to learn how to drive their own dog sled while on our 13mile back country trail. It’s just you, the huskies and the open trail; a truly exhilarating adventure the whole family can enjoy!

When Sara is not busy working with clients and customers buying and selling real estate or out mushing (dog sledding), you can find her outside enjoying one of Steamboat’s many activities: Skiing, hiking, biking, fly fishing, horse back riding, golfing, kayaking, snow shoeing, camping, rafting, swimming, waterskiing, hunting, enjoying the natural hot springs, etc. All these activities, beautiful mountain scenery, lakes, rivers and an amazing community rich with heritage; what more could you ask for when trying to find your new home or vacation spot!
