If arriving on a commercial jet:

The Hayden/Steamboat Airport (HDN) services all of our commercial flights. It's located 22 miles west of Steamboat on US Hwy 40 near Hayden. From this airport:

1. Turn right (east) on Hwy 40. You'll pass the Nature Conservancy Ranch on your left, cross over the Yampa River, and continue through the tiny town of Milner. Heritage Park and Steamboat II are two subdivisions you'll pass before you reach the western edge of town.
2. Continue into our historic downtown district as you pass the library on 13th Street.
3. Turn right on 7th Street and go one block to Yampa Street. On your left you'll find plenty of parking in front of our office, which is a lovely, two-story grey house with a large porch, a fish pond and a deck alongside the river. Come on in.

If arriving in a small, private plane:

The small city-run Steamboat Springs Airport has a 4,500' runway, accommodating small, private planes. It is located three miles west of downtown. (970) 879-9042. From this airport:

1. Turn right (south) on Hwy 129.
2. Turn left (east) at your first stoplight, onto Hwy 40/Lincoln Ave.
3. Continue into our historic downtown district as you pass the library on 13th Street.
4. Turn right on 7th Street and go one block to Yampa Street. On your left you'll find plenty of parking in front of our office, which is a lovely, two-story grey house with a large porch, a fish pond and a deck alongside the river. Come on in.

If arriving by car from points south and east:

From Interstate 70 you will make your way to Hwy 40, heading west. You'll be approaching Steamboat from the opposite end of town as you would if arriving from the airport.

1. 1. Stay on Hwy 40 into our historic downtown district.You'll pass through the outlying Mountain Area and past signs to the Ski Area as Hwy 40 changes its name to Lincoln Ave. At the entrance to downtown you'll see a large water slide on your right, at our Hot Springs Pool. The first intersection downtown will be at the Post Office, on 3rd Street.
